What is a charter school?
Minnesota charter schools are part of the state public school system, but operate independently, as a separate school district. All charter schools in Minnesota are tuition‐free and are open to and welcome all students, no matter ability or need.

Where is New Century School Located?

What are New Century School’s hours and school calendar?
New Century’s school day begins at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 2:15 p.m. The school year begins the last week in August, and goes through the middle of June. New Century School also offers summer and after school programs for students and families.
What are the class sizes at New Century?
On average, we have 28 students per class
Do New Century students wear uniforms?
New Century students are not required to wear uniforms.
What are the grade levels?
Preschool – 12
Are all students eligible to take STEM courses?
Yes, our STEM program is meant for students in all grades.
Does New Century School provide Special Education Services?
In serving the needs of all students, we provide special education services as required by state and federal laws. Parents may request an assessment for their child to determine eligibility. That assessment will be administered by New Century Special Education professionals. Our teachers may also recommend assessment. A Child Study Team reviews the needs of each identified student before testing begins.
